Addison and Glenda Nelson

Addison Nelson enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and was exposed to asbestos while working as a ship boiler tender. On June 10, 1998, twenty years after retiring from the Navy, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma. Addison and his wife, Glenda, sought out HendlerLaw upon the recommendation of a family friend. Largely as a result of Scott's hard work and personal involvement in his case, Mr. Nelson received a settlement in excess of $4 million; he died soon thereafter at age 58.

"Scott took a personal interest in our case and came out to our house several times to meet with us when we were seeking legal counsel," said Glenda Nelson. "That kind of personalized attention made us choose to work with HendlerLaw."
